FAQ

Can a decorative metal screen provide privacy without blocking all the light?

Yes, a screen can filter views while keeping an open feel, but the result depends on pattern density, viewing distance, eye level, lighting and what is behind it. We recommend reviewing a full-size sample or representative mock-up from the key viewing positions before approving the pattern. An open screen does not provide acoustic isolation.

What information do you need to design or quote a custom partition screen?

Please share the plan and elevation, overall dimensions, desired pattern or reference image, required privacy level, material and finish preference, number of panels, installation location, substrate information and project schedule. For an existing space, confirmed site dimensions and access constraints are also important.

How do you decide the pattern density and opening size?

We review the design at the scale of the whole panel and the intended viewing distance. Opening size and spacing can be adjusted to balance visual privacy, daylight, airflow and the appearance of the motif. Performance targets should be agreed for the specific project; a decorative pattern alone is not a quantified privacy or shading rating.

How are large screen elevations divided into panels?

Panel joints and borders are planned with the architectural grid, fabrication method, transport route and site access. The approved shop drawings should show panel references, fixing points, edge details and the continuity of the pattern across joints.

Can the screen be fixed to an existing wall, ceiling or floor?

The fixing method depends on the supporting structure and the approved design. Please provide substrate details and any known restrictions before finalizing panel size and weight. The project engineer or responsible contractor should confirm that the support and anchors are suitable for the location.
