Please share the reflected ceiling plan, ceiling levels and sections, room dimensions, panel pattern and finish references, quantities, support concept, site access and programme. Lighting, sprinklers, diffusers, speakers and maintenance openings should be shown on the latest coordinated service drawings.
Release should follow approval of the ceiling layout, service locations, support details, access strategy and representative sample or mock-up. Late changes to lights, air devices or maintenance openings can alter panel divisions and finished appearance.
Use a shared setting-out grid and agreed zone boundaries. Shop drawings should identify standard, edge, curved and removable panels, with joint lines coordinated around columns, lights and perimeter closures. A representative mock-up helps the team judge the finished field from normal viewing positions.
They can be part of an acoustic ceiling assembly, but perforation alone does not establish sound absorption. The opening pattern, backing, insulation, cavity and tested assembly all matter. If an acoustic target is specified, ask the project acoustician to approve the complete build-up and supporting test data.
An open perforated panel is not an airtight or sound-isolating layer. If the project needs sound separation, airtightness or a thermal boundary, those functions must be provided by a separately designed assembly behind or above the decorative ceiling.
Access points should be located on the coordinated ceiling plan before panel fabrication. Removable modules can be detailed within the panel grid, but the required clear opening, safe removal method and service clearance must be confirmed with the responsible MEP and facilities teams.
