Water-ripple stainless steel ceiling panels and linear edge lighting visually connect residential entry lobbies. The photographs show different lobby viewpoints, not a guaranteed standard module. A custom specification starts from the lobby plan, required clear height, approved stainless steel finish sample and coordinated service positions.
Stainless Steel Honeycomb Panel Construction
Stainless steel-faced honeycomb panels are available for the lobby ceiling field, with the panel grid and reinforced service openings coordinated before production. The panel build-up uses a stainless steel visible face, an aluminum back sheet and a metal honeycomb core. Core specification, bonding system, overall thickness, sealed edges and fixing inserts are selected for the project and recorded in the approved drawings. Hangers and a designed carrier transfer the complete assembly load to the primary structure; lights and other equipment require separately approved support.
Project FAQs
How is a lobby ceiling supported?
Select hangers, rails and connections to the building slab or steel frame from the project load calculation. The surrounding wall finishes and existing decorative ceiling are not assumed to carry the metal panels.
Which services need advance coordination?
Place sprinklers, smoke detectors, air outlets, signage and access hatches on the reflected ceiling plan. Do not hide critical access behind a permanently fixed reflective panel.
What sets the visible panel grid?
Entrance alignment, movement joints, transport limits and ripple direction determine module boundaries. Review a mock-up under both daylight and the proposed linear lighting before releasing fabrication.
