Bronze Curved Stainless Steel Wall Cladding for Reception Areas

Curved stainless steel wall cladding and bronze-toned feature surfaces shape reception backdrops, arched thresholds and sculptural interior accents.
Product description

Bronze stainless steel curved wall cladding is designed for reception spaces, hotel lobbies, office interiors and restaurant entrances. This product family combines broad metal panel surfaces with arched forms, curved transitions and sculptural wall details. The bronze tone brings depth to a feature wall and works well with timber, stone, glass and ambient lighting. Xinmao Metal can tailor the cladding to straight or curved wall geometry, including panel size, seam placement, arch proportions, return panels and trim details. A project may use a large reflective backdrop behind a reception desk, a curved enclosure around a circulation area or a metal-lined opening between spaces. The result is a coordinated wall treatment with a clear architectural role.

Panel system

Flat, folded, or cassette-style wall panels tailored to architectural elevations, corner details, reveals, and maintenance access points.

Information for review
  • Survey the selected curve from the approved plan and height datums, then confirm support positions and panel breaks before releasing the visible cladding geometry.
  • Coordinate arch depths and returns with surrounding walls and any separately supplied doors or glazed partitions; approve the junction sample before adjacent finishes close the opening.
  • Provide an independently reviewed fixing and backing arrangement for projecting sculptural pieces. Do not attach them to decorative sheet faces as an assumed structural support.
  • Sequence fitting to maintain the planned curve and preserve access to agreed concealed services. Protect smooth and textured faces separately and assess joints under the selected reception lighting. Further guidance: Architectural metal systems and project coordination

Typical applications

Interior feature walls, lobby backdrops, external cladding, column wraps, soffits and entrance portals.

The location determines the required backing, joint treatment, access strategy and environmental review.

Panel geometry

Flat panels, folded returns, cassettes, curved elements, perforated features or mixed solid and open profiles.

Geometry is coordinated with corners, openings, doors, services and adjacent materials.

Module planning

Panel widths, heights and joint positions are balanced against architectural grids, sheet yield, and site handling constraints.

Final divisions follow approved drawings, transport access and the intended visual alignment.

Architectural wall panels built around the elevation

Wall cladding is read as one continuous architectural surface, but it is delivered through many coordinated decisions. Xinmao develops the visible panels, concealed support, joints and finish direction as an integrated wall system.

A Reception Backdrop with a Defined Metal Presence

Broad bronze-toned wall fields establish a backdrop behind reception furniture, while surrounding stone-look surfaces and lighting set its visual context. Xinmao Metal develops the decorative wall areas shown on the selected elevation. Desks, suspended lights and other visible elements require their own agreed supply scope.

Curved Profiles Need More Than a Face Outline

A sweeping wall edge or rounded enclosure needs a defined radius, height, panel division and supporting arrangement. Develop those together rather than forming a surface to an approximate site curve. The drawings should distinguish the visible stainless steel skin from its backing and the building elements that carry it.

Choose Between Broad Faces and Vertical Segments

The references include both wide curved faces and closely spaced vertical elements following a curve. These produce different rhythms and require different component schedules. Specify the selected arrangement, including corner terminations and top edges, without assuming every curved direction uses the same bending route or concealed support system.

Arch Linings Connect Two Interior Spaces

A metal-lined arch can carry the bronze direction through an opening rather than leaving the finish on one wall plane. Agree its internal depth, curved head and side returns in section. Adjacent glazing, doors and partitions should meet that lining through coordinated details, not be presumed part of the metal package.

Sculptural Accents Require an Independent Fixing Detail

The projecting sculptural reference offers a more concentrated feature than continuous wall cladding. Its weight, support and wall interface need a separate review for the selected design. Do not assume a decorative background panel can carry a projecting metal piece merely because both share a similar surface appearance.

Where Will the Finish Be Viewed Most Closely?

Review the bronze sample and representative junctions from the reception approach, seating area and nearby circulation route. Broad smooth faces, textured backgrounds and curved edges respond differently to light. Define acceptable variation with the design team rather than promising an identical reflection across different forms and surface treatments.

What Is Required to Price a Curved Wall?

Send a plan and elevation with the required curve or model, overall wall extents, panel breaks and adjacent finishes. Identify arches, projected accents and service openings separately. Material grade, face thickness, backing and fixing method remain project decisions, not dimensions that can be derived from these design references.

Details that create a continuous surface

A successful cladding system seamlessly bridges visual design, precision fabrication, and site installation—preserving the true architectural intent.

Sweeping Edges Behind the Reception Zone

Curved outlines soften the boundary of selected reception walls, giving the metal a spatial role beyond a flat decorative panel behind a desk.

An Arch Lined Through Its Full Depth

The bronze-toned opening treatment carries the surface from the wall face into the passage, making the inside return part of the design.

Broad Planes or a Fine Vertical Rhythm

Wide faces and segmented vertical treatments offer distinct approaches to a curved enclosure. Select the rhythm appropriate to the viewing distance and room proportions.

A Sculptural Alternative to Continuous Cladding

A projecting metal accent can provide a local focal point beside a quieter background, with its support and position developed independently of the surrounding wall skin.

Wall panel questions

Practical answers for architects, contractors and project teams reviewing a custom wall cladding package.

Custom architectural stainless steel screen detail
01Are the same panels suitable for interior walls and exterior facades?

Not by default. Exterior use requires a separate review of weather exposure, supporting frame, movement, drainage, corrosion compatibility and local building requirements. Interior decorative wall details should not be copied into a facade without that review.

02Which metal and finish should I choose for a high-traffic or humid area?

Selection depends on exposure, cleaning products, touch frequency, impact risk and the desired appearance. Stainless steel grade and finish should be agreed through the project specification and a sample. No finish is completely free from fingerprints, scratches or maintenance.

03Can Xinmao provide installation and compliance documentation?

The available package may include approved shop drawings, finish samples, panel references and material information, depending on the agreed scope. Ask for the exact document list at quotation stage. Project engineering approvals, tests and local compliance certificates must be identified separately where required.

04What drawings are needed to review a wall panel project?

Please share elevations, plans, key dimensions, corner details, openings, substrate information and finish references where available.

05How are material and thickness selected?

Selection depends on panel size, location, finish, fabrication method, support system and the approved project specification. Final values are confirmed during detailing.

06Can the panel sizes be customised?

Yes. Module sizes are developed around the elevation, visual grid, transport route, site access and handling requirements.

07Can the finish match nearby metalwork?

Finish references and physical samples can be reviewed with doors, ceilings, trims or other architectural metalwork before production.

08Can the panels be used outside?

Exterior use can be considered, but material, finish, drainage, joints, support and exposure conditions must be reviewed for the actual project location.

09Can selected panels be removable?

Removable panels can be developed where services or inspection require access, subject to the panel geometry and support system.

10Do you provide installation details?

Fixing concepts and coordinated interface drawings can be developed around the agreed scope and confirmed receiving conditions.

11What is needed for an initial quotation?

Provide dimensions, quantities, project location, application, preferred finish, available drawings and any programme requirements. Provisional information should be clearly marked.
