Commercial Stainless Steel Furniture

Custom Stainless Steel TV Units with Display Shelving

Stainless steel TV wall units combine a defined screen recess with display shelving, tailored compartment layouts and separately coordinated lighting.
Product scope

Custom stainless steel TV units bring a defined television opening together with open display shelving for residences, hospitality lounges and commercial interiors. Choose a full media-unit composition or a narrower display section to suit the room. Dark metal frames, warm metallic accents and selected illuminated shelves provide different design directions rather than one fixed cabinet layout.

TV Surrounds and Display Shelving

Xinmao Metal develops the stainless steel frames, visible trims and shelving components around the selected elevation. Side display towers, horizontal shelves and recessed compartments can be arranged to suit books, decorative objects and media equipment. Identify any timber cabinetry, stone surfaces, appliances or electrical components separately in the project scope; they are not automatically included with the metalwork.

Coordinate the Media Unit Before Fabrication

Confirm the television model, opening dimensions, shelf arrangement, finish sample and installation substrate before approving the drawings. TV mounting, shelf loads, cable routes, equipment ventilation and maintenance access need to be coordinated with the responsible installers. Any selected lighting requires its own agreed electrical specification and access provision.

Send your room elevation, required dimensions, quantities and finish references to discuss a custom stainless steel TV surround and display shelving package.

Project coordination
  • Approve one selected wall-unit elevation with TV model, compartment sizes and supplied metal parts marked; do not combine unrelated gallery layouts into a default installation.
  • Confirm the substrate, anchorage and separate support for the TV and loaded shelves through the responsible installers; decorative liners are not assumed equipment supports.
  • Coordinate AV access and any selected compartment lighting before closing the wall, defining the non-metal cabinetry and electrical package separately from the stainless steel components.
  • Trial-check the selected frame and shelf junctions, then protect their finishes while adjacent wall work is completed. Keep separately supplied appliances and media equipment within their own approved installation scope. Further guidance: Architectural metal systems and project coordination

COMMERCIAL FURNITURE & FIXTURES

Customization & Engineering Guide

Five key parameters guide the development of custom stainless steel furniture and fixtures around project layout, operational use, material requirements, finish intent and site conditions.

Preliminary engineering guidance. Final dimensions, materials, interfaces, finishes and installation details are confirmed through approved drawings, samples and project-specific requirements.

Suspended illuminated mirror cabinet at a vanity counter

Furniture & fixture scope

Wine cabinets, bar counters, shelving and bookcases, display cabinets, mirror cabinets, tables, seating, decorative bins and other custom stainless steel fixtures.

The selected scope can be developed as a coordinated package, with dimensions, finishes and detailing aligned across related pieces.

Operational use

Hospitality, retail and commercial applications including display, storage, service, dining, reception, lounge and back-of-house functions.

Intended use informs working height, loading, access, cleaning, security, circulation and service requirements.

Project inputs

Plans, elevations, key dimensions, quantities, equipment schedules, site conditions and adjacent interface details.

Early coordination helps establish proportions, modules, clearances and installation allowances before fabrication.

Commercial Furniture & Fixtures

Commercial stainless steel furniture and fixtures need to support more than appearance. They must respond to service, display, storage, circulation, cleaning and daily use while fitting the architectural language of the space. Xinmao develops each piece around the project layout, material palette, operational requirements and installation conditions.

A Defined Screen Zone Within the Wall Composition

The television recess establishes the centre of a coordinated metal-and-storage elevation. Surrounding frames and selected compartments give it a clear boundary beside the room's wall finishes. Xinmao Metal develops the specified metal components and layout; the display equipment itself is a separate item unless expressly included.

Full Wall Compositions or Independent Side Shelving

The references range from broad TV walls to narrow display units beside the screen area. Some introduce lower storage, while others concentrate on taller open shelves. Select the required arrangement on an elevation rather than assuming that every order includes a complete wall cabinet and all illustrated accessories.

Curved Linings Offer an Alternative Display Detail

Selected side units use softened vertical profiles and metal-lined recesses instead of a simple rectangular box. Their shelf edges, curved returns and meeting with the wall need their own detail. The image alone does not establish a single-piece fabrication method or identify the material of every visible shelf.

Dark Frames and Warm Niches Can Be Coordinated

Darker TV surrounds and warmer display compartments offer distinct finish directions across the family. Review the selected metal sample with the actual backing, joinery and adjacent wall material. A continuous-looking composition does not mean every pictured surface is stainless steel or that one coating is used throughout.

Illumination Belongs in the Compartment Design Brief

Light accents can emphasise shelf edges and the depth of selected niches. Confirm which compartments require them and identify the metalwork and electrical responsibilities separately. The quotation should state the included components; photographs do not establish a driver, fitting specification or electrical performance rating.

How Is the TV Opening Sized for the Equipment?

Provide the chosen screen and mounting information together with the proposed wall elevation. Coordinate the recess, equipment support and required access with the responsible AV installer before fabrication. Do not assume a decorative metal back panel is the approved support for a screen simply because the opening surrounds it.

What Determines the Display Shelf Arrangement?

List the intended display objects and agree compartment heights, shelf depths and support details for the selected scheme. Keep each shelf's function separate from the decorative border. The chosen material and appearance do not establish a load rating for books, ornaments or equipment without a reviewed finished construction.

Separate the Metal Package from Adjacent Features

Media devices, surrounding cabinetry, non-metal backing and any appliance visible nearby need an explicit scope decision. Mark the supplied metal frames, liners and shelves on the drawing so the installation interfaces can be coordinated without treating a staged interior reference as one complete manufactured system.

Details for Commercial Use

Dimensions, fabrication, finishes and interfaces are coordinated around the project as one integrated package.

A Framed Screen Recess at the Centre

The metal border gives the TV zone a clear place in the wall elevation, connecting it visually to the selected display compartments.

Tall Side Shelves or a Wider Storage Elevation

Different reference layouts let the design concentrate on a slender display unit or extend across a broader wall with additional upper and lower elements.

Softened Metal Linings in Selected Display Niches

Curved side details introduce a different character from straight compartment boxes, making the liner profile part of the furniture design.

Light Accents Around Chosen Compartments

Selected shelf edges and recesses can be highlighted, with the metal housings and electrical elements individually identified in the project brief.

Frequently asked questions

Practical answers for architects, designers, contractors and procurement teams reviewing a commercial stainless steel furniture package.

01Can a custom metal mirror cabinet be recessed into an existing bathroom wall?

Possibly, but the wall cavity, framing, pipes, wiring and any waterproof or fire-rated assembly must be checked first. Share the measured opening and wall build-up. A surface-mounted or partially recessed cabinet may be more suitable if the cavity cannot be altered.

02What dimensions are needed for a custom mirror cabinet?

Provide the finished wall width, vanity and basin positions, target mirror size, rough opening, cavity depth, cabinet projection, door swing, lighting and power locations, plus quantities for each room type. Existing openings should be surveyed before shop drawings are approved.

03What should be defined before ordering a custom metal reception desk?

Provide the floor plan, guest approach, desired counter height, seated or standing work positions, equipment list, staff storage, cable and power locations, accessibility requirements, finish references, delivery route and installation constraints.

04What size waste bin is suitable for a hotel room, bathroom or lobby?

Start with the expected waste volume, collection frequency, available floor area and guest route. A slim appearance should be checked against useful capacity and the size of items guests actually discard. Room, washroom and lobby bins may need different openings and capacities.

05Is a stainless steel shower niche waterproof on its own?

The metal niche is one component of the wet-wall assembly. The wall opening, waterproof membrane, niche flange, tile interface, sealant and drainage detail must be coordinated and approved as a system by the project design and installation team. Do not rely on an unspecified bead of silicone as proof of full waterproofing.

06How much clearance should a metal TV niche allow?

Design around the selected TV and mount, including installation clearance, cable connectors, ventilation and access. If future replacement matters, agree a realistic size range or use an adaptable panel strategy instead of tightly enclosing one screen model.

07Can the niche conceal TV power and signal cables?

Cable routes, outlets and removable access points can be shown in the shop drawings. Electrical work and cable routing must follow the project design and local requirements; the metal finish should not block access to connections.

08What types of commercial stainless steel furniture can Xinmao develop?

Typical scope includes wine cabinets, bar counters, shelving and bookcases, display cabinets, mirror cabinets, tables, chairs, decorative bins and custom fixtures. The final scope is developed around project drawings and operational use.

09Can the furniture be developed from our drawings or design concept?

Yes. Share plans, elevations, key dimensions, reference images and intended use. Xinmao can review the information before furniture is detailed for quotation or sampling.

10What information is needed for an initial quotation?

Please provide item list, dimensions, quantities, project location, intended use, finish references, material combinations, equipment requirements and any available drawings.

11How is stainless steel grade selected for a project?

Selection depends on the environment, required appearance, level of use and project specification. 304 is suitable for many interior commercial applications; 316 may be considered for more demanding exposure conditions. Final selection follows approved requirements.

12Can the metal finish be matched with other project materials?

Yes. Stainless steel finishes can be coordinated with stone, timber, glass, mirror, upholstery and adjacent metalwork. Physical samples are recommended where colour and sheen are critical.

13Is this furniture suitable for hospitality and high-traffic commercial spaces?

It can be developed for high-use locations when structure, material, finish, cleaning requirements and service access are matched to the intended operation. No single configuration should be assumed for every site.

14Can furniture include lighting, refrigeration or other equipment interfaces?

Where specified, furniture can be coordinated around equipment, lighting, power, plumbing, locks and access requirements. Responsibilities and technical information should be confirmed during detailing.

15Can stainless steel furniture be combined with other materials?

Yes. Stone, timber, glass, mirror, upholstery and engineered boards can be incorporated where suitable. Interfaces and tolerances are reviewed during detailing so the assembly remains controlled and serviceable.
